Although now trading as THE DARTMOUTH ICE CREAM COMPANY we have tried to keep The Good Intent as many remember it - an old-fashioned shop selling ice cream and traditional sweets and confectionery.

THE GOOD INTENT has a long-standing tradition in Dartmouth and has been making and serving ice cream since 1928.

We were lucky enough to take ownership of The Good Intent in 2002 and have worked hard to maintain and increase that reputation still further.

All our ice cream is made here in our on-site dairy using local ingredients and you'll find 22 delicious flavours on offer in the shop.
